Angela is a single mother who adopted her darling daughter from Ukraine in 2000. Her daughter, Natasha, was 3.5 years of age with crossed eyes and developmental delays at the time of adoption. Out patient surgery fixed the crossed eyes and 2 years of various therapies helped with the developmental delays (occupational therapy, language therapy, physical therapy, etc.) The first year together was very difficult but wonderful for both Angela and Natasha.

Natasha has overcome many challenges in her life. When she entered school she was diagnosed with ADHD, dyslexia and short-term memory issues. In 2005, she was accepted into a great special education program. This allowed her to finally achieve success in school.

Besides bragging about her daughter, Angela's favorite activities are reading, cross-stitch and crochet.
